Remediation Project Management

• We will work with you and our trusted partners and subcontractors to manage all your remediation needs.

• We provide detailed scopes of work and can obtain quotes on your behalf and help you analyse and compare these. We can manage contractors to ensure your desired outcomes are met.

• We can provide training and supervision if you want to carry out your own unlicensed asbestos removal, mould removal and lead paint removal.

Awareness Training

• If you are working with hazardous materials, it is a requirement that you are competent to work safely with them.

• We provide awareness training courses on asbestos, mould, methamphetamine and lead paint which includes safe work methods for working with these.

Lead Paint

• Lead paint was used up until 1979 so any property built prior to 1980 should be presumed to contain lead paint.

• Lead is highly toxic causing health effects which vary widely in their type and severity. Exposure to even small amounts of lead in old paint coatings presents a serious health risk to contractor and the dwelling occupants when the old paint coatings are disturbed.

• Instant lead paint test kits have a limited application and may not reveal lead where there are multiple layers of paint or if the paint is dark in colour.

• We are competent to collect lead dust and air samples and provide laboratory analysis and recommendations in accordance with Ministry of Health Guidelines.

Indoor Air Quality

• There are many potential airborne causes in a building that may be making people sick. These include fungal spores, bacteria, inhalable and respirable dust, and formaldehyde. If you suspect your building is making you sick, we can help..

• We are able to carry out indoor air quality assessments where occupants are experiencing adverse health effects or exposure to unexplained odours.
