Meth Testing
5% of third-hand smoke residue is deposited on surfaces. Absorption rate through the skin can be up to 70%. Infants and immunocompromised individuals are at risk of adverse health effects from contact.
The Residential Tenancies Act prohibits renting contaminated properties.
If you are a landlord or property manager, it is essential to carry out a baseline test prior to occupancy as well as at the end of a tenancy to accurately determine responsibility for any meth contamination and obtain approval of insurance claims.
We offer a low cost initial screening assessment to determine if your property has been contaminated with meth or not.
We are qualified to take samples and these are analysed at an IANZ accredited laboratory.
If a screening assessment shows your property is contaminated, we can arrange a more detailed assessment, provide a decontamination scope of works, and help you find a decontamination contractor.
We offer a post-decontamination assessment to confirm the decontamination has been successful and property is safe to reoccupy.
